Do you think the PS3 is worth the price tag?
I have an Xbox 360 and I have played on Wii. I have never played on the PS3 before, but I was really wanting to get one.
but do you think it's worth the pricetag? I really want it for the Games like Metal Gear Soild, Killzone 2 and Final Fantasy. I wish they would release those games on the Xbox 360, so I didn't have to save up for a PS3. What do you think? |

I don't know if I would drop that much for a second platform, but if you have the money, go for it. I run a PS3 simply because those games are common here. I don't have any problem with the price of the PS3, but that is as my primary game platform. I wouldn't drop that much just so I could play a couple of games. So I guess I would say "Yes" and "No" to your question. Yes if you were looking for a console, but no as a second one. XBox is pretty good too and you get to play some games I won't have a chance at. It all evens out. |

I think so, its lil overpriced even if i get money in the future i wont buy ps3 bcoz my friend own 1 and his advice is "go for xbox 360 instead of ps3 " bcoz here near my home we cant get good titles and even if we get 1 we cant play pirated dvd's so i will wait till ps3 are modded and can play pirated dvd since i cant afford real company titles which will burn a big hole in my pocket

RE: Do you think the PS3 is worth the price tag?
I haven't seen anyone doing pirated or modded PS3's, though that is very common for PS2. In just straight up head to head competition, I think the Xbox 360 would win for the number of games out for it. But for graphics, as I said, I think the PS3 is definitely a better machine. I have mine hooked up to a nice medium sized LCD tv and it is a lot of fun. And I do care about the look of a game, the color and artistic aspects.
But since you already have your Xbox, your good. And you might look at moving to an gaming PC for a second choice that was different, though with Microsoft controlling both your gaming console and the pc, I don't know if you'd really gain a lot in terms of "different games". Standard game prices are very high. However where I live, it is the reverse, there are lots of PS2 and PS3 games for sale, but very few Xbox games. |

I plan to buy Killzone 2 myself. I don't apperceive if I would bead that abundant for a additional platform, but if you accept the money, go for it. I run a PS3 artlessly because those amateur are accepted here. I don't accept any botheration with the amount of the PS3, but that is as my primary bold platform. I wouldn't bead that abundant just so I could play a brace of games.
