Heavenly Sword for PS3

Okay, my number two favorite game on the PS3 platform. I played the downloadable demo probably a hundred times before I got the game itself. And then I got serious about it! Now it has its feminist aspects, maybe a bit of girl-girl attitude, but the fighting is excellent, the artwork outstanding, and the story line well thought out. No shooting or killing just 'cause. It all advances the story.

Nariko carrys the sword, which can change into 3 different forms depending on the style of attack. And there is the sidekick, Kai, who I enjoyed the most. She wields a crossbow with a wicked difference, you can direct the arrows in flight until they strike your target. I replayed her sequences time and again trying different flight paths, trying to better my score, and just enjoying myself.

Some folks have compared this game to XBox's Ninja Gaiden. I have the PS3 port of Ninja Gaiden and they are levels apart. Heavenly Sword is twice the game visually and much more fun to play. If you can get it, try it out, I doubt you will regret it.
